Unlike Android where mSpy installs directly on the device, iPhone monitoring works through Apple's iCloud backup system. Here's the process:
- You provide the Apple ID and password of the target iPhone in your mSpy dashboard.
- mSpy connects to iCloud and starts extracting data from the device's backups.
- Data appears in your dashboard — messages, photos, contacts, location, call logs, and more.
The key requirement is that iCloud backup must be enabled on the target iPhone (it's on by default for most users). Backups typically happen automatically once a day when the phone is charging, connected to Wi-Fi, and locked.
Since you never touch the target phone, there's absolutely nothing to detect. No app icon, no battery drain, no storage used — nothing changes on the iPhone at all.
